Post COVID-19 Life-Near Empty Stadiums

I recently came across this picture (see below) of my daughter on her high school class trip last year.  We were in beautiful Grenoble, France (near the French Alps) to watch a FIFA women’s world cup match between Germany and Nigeria.  We arrived about 2 hours before the game because we were excited and wanted to get the full experience of watching players arrive, etc.  So, because of that there was barley anybody there and definitely nobody in the seats.  Thus, when I took the pic of my German flag draped daughter in her mid-level field seat, she was virtually in a empty stadium.

Empty or near empty stadiums may be a reality for us at least in the near future.  Oh, by the way Germany won the game, but got knocked out of the playoffs early!

Stay safe everyone!
